About Us
Preferred Capitol Cleaning, established in 2016, is a women-owned, small business created by two passionate entrepreneurs, Ana Chicas McNamara and Illissa Figueroa. This minority-owned business focuses on post-construction, janitorial, residential, and multi-family cleaning services.
Both principals carry extensive experience and hands-on knowledge working for various cleaning companies in the DMV for over 17 years. The prospect of going into business together became a vision shortly after meeting one another in 2016 and realizing their shared passion for post-construction cleaning. The rest is in the books!
Our Mission
The mission of Preferred Capitol Cleaning is to create a positive and safe work environment for its employees and clients. Acquiring work is only half the battle; building and maintaining relationships along with taking great care of their client needs is key. They pride themselves on their ability to meet and exceed client expectations with field staff execution and professionalism. These values are their recipe for growth and success.
We are CBE, DBE, HBE, MBE, SBE, and WBE certified and proud members of ABC Metro Washington, 7x24 Exchange DC chapter, Washington Building Congress, and DC ConnX.
